How the score is built

Half the score is whether an agent can find pricing, sign-up, and contact. The pass rate is the share of attempts that located the page. A warning on any other check is worth half its points, rounded. The previous rubric is kept as v1 on each rescored row and is not the number on the leaderboard.

llms.txt is a bonus

Ahrefs looked at server logs for 137,000 domains in May 2026. Twenty-eight percent published an llms.txt file, and 97 percent of those files received zero requests that month. AI crawlers are not going looking for a file that is not there. See We Analyzed 137K Sites: 97% of llms.txt Files Never Get Read. Four points records that the file exists without letting a rarely fetched document decide the score. An HTTP 402 payment challenge is the same kind of bonus: real, and still uncommon.

Task checks only locate pages. They do not submit forms or create accounts. robots.txt is still fetched first, and a path it disallows for AgentReadinessAudit is not requested. It does not add points on its own.

565 companies have a v2 score. The average is 63. 4 still need a rescan from the daily index batch because the stored checks did not include enough to score raw HTML. Back to the index.
